Does Plants vs Zombies : Garden Warfare 2 still have players?

The game was on discount on an Origin sale so I thought I might get it to try it out. I'm a big fan of the Plants vs Zombies series and really wanted to try it out and see how the game is for myself.

Also if any of you play the game, drop your Origin IDs.

There were very few players even a few years ago. If you're still interested, I'd rather get a month of Origin Access Basic. If the players aren't there, you can play something else.

Assuming that the multiplayer isn't region-locked, I don't have connection issues and the game doesn't have a skill-based matchmaking which never pairs players with a significant skill-gap, I personally wasn't always able to find players at all around at the time when Origin Access launched. However, I can't be absolutely sure that I'm not confusing the sequel with the original as I played the games in conjunction.

Haven't played it on PC, but my kids still manage to find online matches on the PS4 version and I hear lots of nonsense going off on the background until I mute it..

I've refunded the game a few weeks after launch because the online population was as good as dead. Don't bother buying it on pc.

Wife plays it daily on PS4. I got it for her on PC, was going to buy it for myself too - turns out it's dead.

Supposedly it's playable for GW1 and GW2 on PC according to the subreddit. Although, only 1 mode is populated on both basically.

Can't personally confirm though as I skipped GW2 when they doubled the price assuming the PC version would be DOA. Will be buying GW3 though whenever that comes out though, I miss the gameplay on it.

Last time I checked, a couple of months ago, it did not.

I just bought the game on Origin but there is an Intel driver error that prevents me from playing it. Going to refund it soon.
